External Network Card

Product Description

External network card with USB 2.0 connection. Converts a USB
port to a TP connection (RJ45) for connecting to 10/100 Mbit/s
network. For Windows ME, 2000 and XP.

Installation
The following installation instructions apply for Windows XP with
Service Pack 2 installed.
1. Start your computer.
2. Insert the network card into a vacant USB port.
3. The computer will recognise the network card and the
New Hardware Found message appears automatically.
4. Select "No, not his time" and press "Next".

5. Insert the CD-ROM holding the drive routines into the CD player
and select "Install software automatically (recommended)"
and then press "Next".
USB Device
6. The drivers will be installed and the message New Hardware
Installed informs you that the network card has been installed.
Press "OK" to complete the installation.

Properties and Configuration
You can check that the network card is installed correctly in the
following way:
1. Click on Start/Control panel. Double-click on "System" and
select "Hardware".
2. Select "Device Manager" and right-click on the network card.
Select "Properties" and chose to configure or troubleshoot the
network card.
Creating a Network Connection
A new network connection can be created by clicking on
Start/Network Connection/Network Connections. Right-click on
the network card you wish to configure and select "Properties".
Disposal
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you
are unsure about how to dispose of this product contact your
municipality.
