Maximum Aperture

Pin Adjustment (Assembled Camera)
1.
Set the camera in TV at 1/1000 second.
2.
Set the depth gage to 7.62mm and set
it
against the
pin.
The aperture number "1.8" should be flashing in
the
viewfinder.
3.
Reset
the gage to 7.S6nun
and
repeat.
"2.0" should be
flashing in the
viewfinder
.
In both step
2
and 3,
excess
light should be kept
out
of the lens mount.
4.
Adjust
the pin height till the conditions detailed
above are
met.
(The relaxed
position
of
the pin
should
be
approximately
5.5 to
5
.7mm
below the mount surface.)

Precautions:

adjustment not only
affects exposure
ac-
curacy.
It also has an effect
on
the total AE
operation
in
that incorrect
positioning will
lock
the
shutter and
li
ght
the
error mark (EEEE
EE).
Take care to
make the adjustment correctly.
