Problems
Causes
Vibration sound. 1. Vibration of shelves and foods in

Irregular sound. 1. It is caused by heat expansion
("Click").

shelves, and pipes in the
refrigerator.
Checks
1-1. Remove and replace the
shelves in the refrigerator
1-2. Check light food and container
on the shelves.
2-1. Touch pipes in the compressore
compartment with hands.
2-2 Check capillary tube touches
cover back.
3-1 Check compressor stopper
vibration.
4-1 Check vibration of front and rear
moving wheels.
5-1 Touch other structures and parts.
1-1 Check time and place of sound
sources.
Measures
1) Reassemble the vibrating parts
and insert foam or cushion where
vibration is severe.
2) Leave a clearance where parts
interfere with each other.
3) Reduce vibration with rubber
and restrainer if it is severe.
(especially, compressor and pipe).
4) Replace compressor stopper if it
vibtates severely.
1) Explain the principles of refrigeration
and that the temperature difference
between operation and defrosting
can make sounds.
2) If evaporator pipe contacts with other
structures, leave a clearance between
them (freezer shroud or inner case).
