Two Door Reversal
Note: If you have a one door appliance (see page 11).
WARNING: Switch off electrical supply and pull out
mains plug.
Hotpoint recommend that you remove loose
items/fittings from inside the appliance and place food
into insulated containers whilst carrying out this
operation.
hinge pin from bracket and lift door off centre hinge,
carefully place to one side. Remove spacing washers
from centre hinge pin and retain.
Remove Lower Door
Note: You may require
assistance to carefully lay
the appliance onto it's
back onto a suitable
protective material
(ie. original packaging).
4. Unscrew and remove
both front feet,
screws, bottom hinge
and spacing washers,
retain (Fig 15).
5. Remove metal plate
from front bottom left
and refit on opposite
side.
6. Slightly open door, slide downwards, remove and
carefully place to one side.
7. Using a suitable tool, remove centre hinge and spacer
if fitted (Fig 16).
8. Use a blunt instrument to prise off the two plastic

Note: You may require
assistance for the
removal and refitting of
the top door.
1. Open door as wide as
possible.
2. Support door and
remove screw
securing the top hinge,
retain (Fig 14).
3. Tilt door to release

caps from centre left
of appliance, remove
screws, plastic inserts,
and refit on the
opposite side
9. Refit centre hinge
bracket with hinge pins
on the outer edge (and
spacer if applicable).
Note: Insert centre
hinge screws and
tighten only halfway.
