Instructions for Disposal of WEEE
by Users in the European Union
This product must not be disposed of with other waste. Instead,
it is the user's responsibility to dispose of their waste equip-
ment by handing it over to a designated collection point for the recycling
of waste electrical and electronic equipment. The separate collection and
recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help to
conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that
protects human health and the environment. For more information about
where you can drop off your waste equipment for recycling, please contact
your local city office, your household waste disposal service or where you
purchased the product.
APPENDIX
sTeerIng TensIon adjusTmenT
Steering tension is adjusted via the recessed
screw located below the steering wheel. Using a small
Phillips screwdriver, turning the screw clockwise
increases steering tension while turning the screw
counterclockwise reduces steering tension.

components, or augment the product in any way,
outside of these instructions. Failure to follow each

switch configurations, contact the appropriate Horizon
Product Support office for assistance.
CAUTION: Never turn the radio on when changing
configurations.
ChangIng from droPdown To
sTandard wheel
The DX3R PRO comes with the dropdown wheel
installed and can be switched to the standard wheel.
All the parts necessary to convert to the standard wheel
are included. The included 3/32-inch hex wrench and a
small Phillips screwdriver will be needed.

1. Remove the batteries from the transmitter. This
prevents the possibility of accidentally causing
a short during the conversion.
2. Using the 3/32-inch hex wrench, remove the three
screws on the front of the steering housing as shown.
3. Carefully remove the steering mechanism and
unplug the steering connector. Also remove the
steering shell but leave the backplate.
4. Using the 3/32-inch hex wrench, remove the three
screws on the front of the steering dropdown as
shown.
