7.Calibration Function
(Temperature Display Value Compensation Function)
Calibration can be performed by pressing [UP] key and [DOWN] key with in the range of
±5℃ referring to the value of the present temperature when Calibration mode was
selected.
How to perform Calibration
Type ULE turns into Calibration mode by pressing [UP] key and [DOWN] key simultaneously
for about 8 seconds.If no keys are pressed for about 10 seconds, the device turns into
normal operation mode, and the preset temperature will be displayed.
<Setting sequence>
Pressing none
The device is in normal operation, and the present
temperature is displayed.

The device turns into normal operation, and the present
temperature will be displayed, if no keys are pressed for
about 10 seconds.
Failure in observing the following could result in injuries

CAUTION
of operators, or damage and malfunction of the device.
●Key operations should be done while the present temperature is displayed.
●Make sure that calibration is performed accurately using the standard thermometer
when the temperature to be measured is stable and without fluctuations.
Calibration should be performed referring to the value of the preset temperature
when Calibration mode was selected
●The value during calibration will become the present temperature and the device
will operate referring to it. Depending on the preset [ON] and [OFF] values, the
control power output could be switched on or off during calibration.
●There may be greater disagreement between the real temperature values and the
preset temperature values that are not calibrated.
１２．Check Points on Trouble
Phenomenon
All of digital indications disappear.
Digital indication displays"Lo".
Digital indication displays"Hi".
Digital indication displays"Err".
Digital indication displays "888".
Continuance of control output ON
or control output OFF
[[CAL] value change]
[CAL] offset, [Present temperature], and [CAL]
letters will be displayed on and off one after
the other. [CAL] offset, [Present temperature],
and [CAL] letters will be displayed on and off
one after the other, and [CAL] offset can be
changed.
[CAL] offset change by 0.5℃, and by 1℃ if
the temperature is 100℃ and higher.
Causes
・Power is not supplied.
・Power failure.
・The detected temp. is lower than minimum
temp. of indication range.
・Sensor is disconnected.
・Sensor lead broke.
・The detected temp. is higher than maximum
temp. of indication range.
・Sensor short-circuited.
・Failure of set point.
・Turn OFF the power once and turn ON the
power again.
・As the temp. indication flashes, reset
the each temp. set point.
・In case continues Err indication, it means
out of order of the Product.
・When apply the power to the ULE, display
everytime.
・On cooling Mode:"OFF"set point is higher
than "ON" set point.
・On heating Mode:"OFF"set point is lower
than "ON" set point.
１３．Scope of Warranty
Unless otherwise agreed by the parties,warranty period of the product shall be one
year after date of delivery to Buyer.
In case of failure attributable to the Company within such period,the product shall
be repaired or replaced without charge,provided that any one of followings are out
of the warranty:
① Improper handling or application by user.
② Modification or repair by other than the Company.
③ Any failure to be caused by acts of God,fire,storm or the like,war,riot or the
like and other causes beyond the control of the Company.
Warranty described in this paragraph means the warranty for the Product itself and
dose not include warranty for any consequential damage arising out of or occasioned
by a defect or failure of the Product.
