Power on
Plug your extender into a power
outlet near your Router/AP.

Launch a web browser, type http://tplinkrepeater.net in
the address bar and use admin (all lowercase) for both

Go to Quick Setup Wizard to configure your extender.

Relocate
1 Plug in the extender halfway between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone.
The location you choose must be within the range of your existing host
network.
2 Wait for the extender to reconnect and the 2.4G/5G LED should turn green. If
not, relocate it closer to the router to achieve better signal quality.

Solid Green: The extender is connected to the

On: The extender's wireless function is enabled.

1. Unplug the Ethernet cable from your Mac (if any).
2. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner of the
screen, and connect to the extender's network
(e.g. TP-LINK_Extender_2.4GHz/5GHz).

Select the WiFi Security Option of the host network and
enter the password. Either keep the default SSID or
customize it for the extended network. Then click Next.
