Some clarifications for the above views:
• Power key: simulate phone power key
• Menu key: simulate phone menu key
• Shutter keys: simulate phone camera shutter key functions
• Volume keys: simulate phone volume keys
• IHF: simulate phone IHF
• Mode switch: select CU-4, BSI or Local mode
• Hinge magnet holder: simulate hinge open/close
• UI module: Phone UI part
• Audio FPC: Phone Audio FPC
• SP2, SP4, SP5 and SP6: available as MJ-243 spare part
Note:
• Treat all connectors carefully as they are sensitive to be damaged.
• Use phone SIM holder soldered on engine board to test SIM card.
• Use phone SD card holder on Reader FPC connected to engine board to test SD card.
Instructions for attaching the UI module to the Module Jig
1 Select a working phone UI part to fix in the module jig. Do not take it off unless needed. Use it for reference
for engine repair.
2 Open the UI module hinge.
3 Remove the keymat from the UI carefully. Try not to bend the keymat if possible.
4 Optionally, SP6 can be disassembled in order to fix the UI module to it easily.
