Use the antenna

Tip: Your phone has a built-in antenna.
As with any other radio transmitting device,
do not touch the antenna unnecessarily
when the phone is switched on.

Install and remove the battery

This section tells you how to install and remove the battery. You will need
to remove the battery when replacing it, or to view the phone's label
(located under the battery).
INSTALL THE BATTERY
1 Place the battery in the
compartment with the label
side facing up and the golden
contact area of the battery
aligned with the contact
prongs inside the phone.
2 Press down on the battery
until it snaps into place.
Contact with the antenna affects call quality and may
cause the phone to operate at a higher power level
than otherwise needed.
Not touching the antenna area during a phone call
optimizes the antenna performance and the talk-time
of your phone. Normal position: Hold the phone as you
would any other telephone with the antenna pointed
up and over your shoulder.
