ADVANCED OPERATION
Advanced operation functions are available through
the menu system.
To browse the menu options:
•
Press the
MENU button:
The Menu will open.
•
Press the
NEXT or PREV button to browse the menu
options available.
•
Press the
Volume/Select control to select the
option displayed.
The options available when set to the DAB band are:
•
Full scan
•
Manual Tune
•
DRC
•
Prune
•
System
•
System>Time
•
System>Language
•
System>Factory Reset
•
System>SW version
The options available when set to the FM band are:
•
Scan setting
•
System
DAB SETTINGS MENU OPTIONS
FULL SCAN: Select Full Scan to re-scan the entire DAB
band and refresh the station list. A Local Scan (selected
with the SCAN button) will scan only the bands used in
the locality of the radio. A full scan will scan all bands.
MANUAL TUNE: You can also manually tune the DAB
band (recommended for advanced users only). This will
enable you to check for active multiplexes.

Select the Manual Tuning menu option.
The multiplex channel number and frequency will be
displayed. If a station multiplex exists on this frequency,
the multiplex name will also be displayed.
•
Press the
NEXT or PREV button to change to
another multiplex channel.
•
Press the
Volume/Select control to check the
signal strength of this multiplex.
PRUNE: If your station list includes stations that you can
no longer receive (you may have moved to a different
area), you can select the 'Prune' option to remove the
unavailable stations from the Station List.

SYSTEM SETTINGS
•
To select one of the system setting sub-options,
select 'SYSTEM' from the main menu.
The sub-option menu will now open.
SYSTEM>TIME: Select the time option to set
the clock manually. The full manual clock setting
operation is described in the 'FIRST TIME USE' section.
SYSTEM>LANGUAGE: Selecting one of the language
options available will change all display indications to
the selected language.
SYSTEM>FACTORY RESET: Select the 'Yes' sub-option
to reset all the settings of your radio to factory original
settings. The station list will also be cleared and any
stored preset memories will be erased. After a factory
reset the radio will re-scan the band and renew the
station list.
SYSTEM>SW VERSION: This option will display the
version number of the control software currently
installed in your radio. This will be helpful to a
technician who is servicing the radio.
FM SETTINGS
When set to the FM band, you can select a menu option
to change the scan sensitivity to stop on all stations or
just to stop on strong stations.
System settings are also accessible.
