    The internal battery may be charged by connecting to a free PC USB- Port or by using an optional power pack / charger (included with X30 Plus) sold seperatly (see Chapter 3.5). The power pack / charger is available and may be ordered from our web site www.odys.de.

Installing the driver When using Windows 98SE, you must first install the correspondding driver found on the CD-ROM before connecting the MP3 player to your computer.

    ODYS MP3 player X30 Operation Switching the MP3 player on and off Switching the MP3 player on Use the ON/OFF Switch at the top to switch the player on. Hold the PLAY key down for approx. one second until the Display illuminates and a greeting is displayed.

    ODYS MP3 player X30 Switching the MP3 player off Press and hold the PLAY key for approximately three seconds until the Display illumination deactivates. This is true irrespective of the current operating state of the player. If not to be used for longer periods, switch the player off using the main switch, otherwise the batteries may discharge quickly.
