It will mean the shortly press without special explaining later. Shortly press: It will go into effect once press keystroke.

    The internal battery may be charged by connecting to a free PC USB- Port or by using an optional power pack / charger (included with X35 Plus) sold seperatly (see Chapter 3.5). The power pack / charger is available and may be ordered from our web site www.odys.de.

    ODYS MP3 player X35 • If an error occurs during installation, remove the USB cable, restart the operating system and reconnect the USB cable to the PC. Load the battery via the USB connection The rechargeable internal battery can be charged using the USB connection of your computer or a USB hub with its own power supply.

    ODYS MP3 player X35 Transferring files MP3 player - PC • Use the ON/OFF Switch at the top to switch the player on. • Connect the MP3 player to your PC using the supplied USB cable. • Open the Windows Explorer or double-click My Computer.

    ODYS MP3 player X35 The device creates automatically a folder using the file format "DIR". Voice recordings which were created by the device using the file format WAV can be found in this folder. Please do not use this folder to save MP3 or WMA files.

    ODYS MP3 player X35 Operation Switching the MP3 player on and off Switching the MP3 player on Use the ON/OFF Switch at the top to switch the player on. Hold the PLAY key down for approx. one second until the Display illuminates and a greeting is displayed.

This is true irrespective of the current operating state of the player. If not to be used for longer periods, switch the player off using the main switch, otherwise the batteries may discharge quickly.

  • Page 15 ODYS MP3 player X35 Playback, forwards/back, pause, stop Insert a sets of headphones in the headphone connection and turn the player on. The player is now in stop status. Press the PLAY button to play the track showed. The track information (ID3 tag) is scrolled on the Display.

This allows you to record important ideas or thoughts when away from home, so you don’t forget them. Press the MODE key of the turned-on player for approx. 1 sec. to switch to the main menu.

    ODYS MP3 player X35 System settings (Setup) The mode Setup allows you to change important system settings for your MP3 player. It contains a total of 5 options. Press the MODE key of the turned-on player for approx. 1 sec. to switch to the main menu.

Formatting the memory (Format) Use this function to format the internal flash memory of the MP3 player. Keep in mind that in doing so all files and folders are perma- nently deleted.

    ODYS MP3 player X35 FM Radio To enter the main menu, insure that the player is switched to on and press the "MODE" key for 1 sec. Select "FM-MODE" using the < > keys and confirm your selection by pressing the "MODE" key.
