Basic Camera Setup: The Setup Menu

Z Monitor Settings

Choose whether or not to display information in the monitor, and set the
monitor brightness.
Photo info
Choose information displayed in monitor during shooting and playback
mode.
Brightness
Choose from five settings for monitor brightness.
Photo Info
The following display options are available.
See "The Monitor" (c 6,7) for information on indicators in the monitor.

Shooting mode
The current settings or operation guide is displayed for five seconds
as in [Show info] above. After five seconds, display will be the same
as [Hide info].
In L (auto) mode or high-sen-
sitivity shooting mode, a fram-
ing grid is displayed to help
frame pictures; other current
settings or operation guide is
displayed for five seconds as in
[Auto info] above.
In other shooting modes, the
current settings or operation
guide is displayed as in [Auto
info] above.
Playback mode
