Viewing Multiple Pictures: Thumbnail Playback

Rotate the zoom control to f (h) in full-frame
playback mode (A 26) to display pictures in "contact
sheets" of thumbnail images. The following operations
are available while thumbnails are displayed.
To

Increase the
number of

displayed/apply

Decrease the
number of
pictures
displayed
Cancel thumbnail

Thumbnail Playback Mode Display
When pictures for which Print set (A 90) and
Protect (A 108) settings have been configured
are selected, the icons in the illustration to the
right appear.
Movies are displayed as film frames.
Use
Press the multi selector H, I, J, or K.
Rotate the zoom control to f (h) to increase
the number of picture thumbnails displayed: 4
➝ 9 ➝ 16. Rotate the zoom control to f (h)
in the 16-picture thumbnail display to apply the
f (h)
calendar display (A 48), and pictures can be
found by the date on which they were taken.
Rotate the zoom control to g (i) to return to
thumbnail display.
Rotate the zoom control to g (i) to decrease
the number of picture thumbnails displayed: 16
➝ 9 ➝ 4. Rotate the zoom control to g (i) in
g (i)
4-picture thumbnail display to return to full-
frame playback mode.
k
Press the k button.
A
Press the A button or the shutter-release
button to return to the last shooting mode
selected.
