INSTALLATION Location When selecting a position for your unit you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and the room is well ventilated with an average room temperature of between 10°C and 43°C. Avoid locating your unit near a heat source, e.g. cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct sunlight as it may increase the electrical consumption. -

Fridge Storage Compartment Salad Bin • Sliding the humidity control button rightward enables the salad bin to maintain a higher humidity suitable for cucumbers, grapes, Chinese gooseberries, persimmons, etc. • Sliding the humidity control button leftward enables the crisper to maintain a lower humidity suitable for strawberries, oranges, beans, garlic, watermelon, plums, tomatoes, etc. -

Operation First Time Use When the refrigerator is powered on for the first time, the power indicator and the fridge storage compartment indicator will light up. The fridge storage temperature will be displayed as “-” and the freezer storage temperature will be displayed as“- -” due to high temperature inside each compartment. The buzzer will beep. -

Holiday Function Press the Holiday button to activate a high temperature in Holiday mode. The indicator will illuminate • and the fridge storage temperature display will show “–”. Press the Holiday button again, the indicator will switch off and the refrigerator will return to normal. •... -
Page 11: Shopping For Chilled Foods
Shopping for Chilled Foods • Take a quick look at the chilled food package and make sure it is in perfect condition. • Try to keep chilled food together whilst shopping and on the journey home as this will help to keep the food cold. -
Page 12: Defrosting Frozen Food
• You can use the space in the freezer most efficiently if you freeze liquids (or solids with liquids, e.g. stew) in square blocks. This is known as “Preforming”. Pour the liquid into a polythene bag which is inside a square sided container. Freeze it, and then remove it from the container and seal the bag. -

Cleaning Defrosting The freezer compartments of this unit is frost free. With proper use, there should not be any frost accumulated. However, in the case of improper use of the freezer compartments, frost might build up in the freezer compartments after the unit has been used for a period of time. Scrape away the frost using a plastic scraper (not included). -

Maintenance Changing the Internal Light The internal refrigerator light is a LED panel. To change the internal light, please contact qualified service personnel. Care When Handling / Moving the Unit Hold the unit around its sides or base when moving it. Never place the unit in a horizontal position. -
