To sew backward, push the button down and the feeding teeth will move the material in reverse to normal sewing direction as long as the push-button is held down.

With the fingernail of your left hand, first, finger under rear edge of the latch (D), pull straight out and use the raised latch as a finger grip to remove the bobbin case containing the bobbin.

Hold the bobbin with fingers of the other hand so that the end of the thread points in a CLOCKWISE direction. Insert the bobbin into the case and pull the thread into the case edge slot (RIGHT).
