1. Push in the throttle interlock lever on top of the handle
(⑪ in diagram) and engage the locking button the side
of this. This engages the throttle at a slow speed to aid
starting the engine as can be seen in the following
instructions.

To set the engine at half throttle, push in the lever and press in
the button on the side of the throttle, covered by the thumb
as shown above.
