8. TIMER ON button
Press this button to set TIMER ON. The length of time increases each time
you press it. The increment is half an hour in the 0-10 hour range and one
hour in the 10-24 hour range.
To cancel TIMER ON, set the timer to 0.0.
9. SLEEP button
Use this button to turn sleep mode on or off. This mode is only supported for
cooling, heating and automatic modes.
NOTE
Sleep mode is turned off when you press ON/OFF, FAN SPEED or MODE.
10. TIMER OFF button
Press this button to set TIMER OFF. The length of time increases each time
you press it. The increment is half an hour in the 0-10 hour range and one
hour in the 10-24 hour range.
To cancel TIMER OFF, set the timer to 0.0.
11. LOCK button
Press this button to lock or unlock the remote control buttons. This protects
against unauthorized use of the air conditioner, for example, by children.
12. LED button
Press this button to enable/disable the LED display on the control panel of
the air conditioner.
13. FOLLOW ME button (optionally)
To activate this function, point the remote at the remote control sensor on
the air conditioner and press this button.
• The remote control is equipped with a temperature sensor that measures
the air temperature in the vicinity of the remote control. When the remote
control is activated, this temperature is shown on its display.
• When you activate this function, every 3 minutes the remote transmits a
signal to the air conditioner about the temperature at the location of the
remote control.
• To cancel, press this button again.
• If 7 minutes elapse without the air conditioner receiving a signal from the
remote control, it will beep and the function will automatically turn off.
The display of the remote will show the current room temperature.
• The FOLLOW ME function is not supported for fan and dry modes.
• When you turn modes, the FOLLOW ME function is disabled.
14. ION button [ionization function]
Press this button to turn the ionization function on or off.
MODE DISPLAY ON THE REMOTE CONTROL
The display shows all the current information about the operation of the air
conditioner.
15. Indication of operating modes of the conditioner
The arrow points to selected operating mode AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, FAN.
16. Signal reception indicator
This appears when the air conditioner receives a signal from the remote
control.
17. Temperature/timer indicator
The display shows the set room temperature in the range of 17°C ~30°C and
the timer settings in the range of 0-24 hours (except in fan mode).
18. Air conditioner on/off indicator
This appears when you turn on the air conditioner.
19. Fan mode indicator
The arrow points to fan mode on/off.
20. Fan speed indicator
The arrows point to the selected fan speed: high, medium or low. The fan
speed indicator does not appear in automatic and dry modes.
21. FOLLOW ME function indicator (optionally)
This appears when you press FOLLOW ME in cooling or heating mode.
22. TIMER indicator
The TIMER ON indicator appears when you are using TIMER ON, and the
TIMER OFF indicator appears when you are using TIMER OFF. The TIMER ON
OFF indicator appears when you are using both of them at the same time.
23. Button lock indicator
This appears when the button lock function is on.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Automatic mode
Make sure the unit is plugged in and turned on.
1. Select AUTO mode by pressing the mode button until the word AUTO
appears.
2. Use the temperature adjustment buttons to set the set room tempera-
ture in the range of 17°C ~30°C.
3. Press ON/OFF to launch the air conditioner in automatic mode.
NOTES
The operation of the air conditioner in this mode is automatically regulated
based on sensor readings of temperature and humidity. The air conditioner
automatically selects the mode of operation—cooling, heating or ventila­
tion—depending on the desired temperature in the room.
You cannot adjust the fan speed manually in automatic mode.
If the automatic mode does not provide you with comfortable conditions,
choose another mode of operation.
