• Do not use the air conditioner in places with high humidity. To avoid elec-
tric shock, do not operate the air conditioner in the immediate vicinity of
a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
• Do not touch the air conditioner, power cord or plug with wet hands.
• Do not use a foreign object to press any buttons on the control panel.
• Never disassemble the air conditioner or remove the fixed panels.
• Do not turn the air conditioner on or off by plugging or unplugging it from
the wall outlet; always use the main on-off button.
• Never cover or block the air entry and exit openings. Do not stick objects
into the openings of the air conditioner.
• Do not use the air conditioner in the same room with flammable substanc-
es, paint, or insecticides. To avoid chemical reactions with the elements
of the air conditioner, do not use such substances to clean the device.
• Do not leave a plugged-in air conditioner unattended. Always unplug it
immediately after use. Do not let children play with the air conditioner or
use it unsupervised.
• For best results, make sure all windows and doors are closed during op-
eration.
• Clean the air filters regularly and do not allow dust and dirt to accumulate
on them.
• Store the air conditioner upright in its box in a dry place out of the reach
of children.
• Save these instructions for future reference. If you sell the appliance or
give it away, transfer the instructions with it.

Air conditioner control panel

1. SWING Button [swinging of the louvers]
Use this button to enable/disable automatic swinging of the louvers or lock
them into position.
2. MODE Button
Mode selection. Use this button to cycle among the following modes: AUTO,
COOL, DRY, FAN and HEAT. The display shows the selected mode.
3. FAN Button
Fan speed control. Use this button to cycle among the fan speeds: LOW,
MED, HIGH and AUTO. The display shows the selected speed. In automatic
mode, the fan mode light turns off.
4. ON/OFF Button
Use this button to turn the air conditioner on and off.
5. TIMER Button
Use this button to enter timer programming mode. To adjust the values,
press + or –.
6. SLEEP Button
Use this button to enable/disable sleep mode for using the air conditioner
at night.
7. LED display
The LED display shows the set indoor temperature (°C or °F) and the timer
settings. In dry and fan modes, the display shows the current room tem-
perature.
The LED display also displays error codes if there is a problem with the air
conditioner or a safety code if the condensate pan overflows.
Error code:
E1: problem with the temperature sensor.
E2: problem with the humidity sensor.
E3: problem with the display.
E0: systemic problems with the air conditioner.
If the display shows an error code, turn off the air conditioner, unplug it, and
plug it in again. If the error code appears again, contact the service center.
Safety code:
P1: condensate pan is full.
Connect the drain hose and drain the condensate. If the error code appears
again, contact the service center.
8. Ionization function button
Use this button to turn on/off the ionization function.
The built-in ion generator increases filter efficiency, giving to tiny particles
of organic contaminants and dust an electric charge that activates the depo-
sition of contaminants on the filter.
