HOW TO PROCEED IN CASE OF PROBLEMS
HOW TO PROCEED IN CASE OF PROBLEMS
NO POWER / GREEN LED NO LIGHTS:
- Power cables are not properly connected (terminals +BATT, GND and REM).
- Power cables with bad contact. Check connections.
- REM without signal. Check if REM connection is receiving power near +12V.
- Bad contact ground connection.
- The internal fuse is burned. Attention to the correct value of the fuse (0,5A).
NO SOUND:
- Gain controls at minimum level. Increase the level.
- Power switch the channel off. Turn it on.
UNWANTED NOISE:
- All RCA and power cables must first be checked, to rectify any irregularities of them.
- Use suppressive cables at ignition candles.
- Route RCA cables input and output away from any other cable, because they are more sensitive to
interference.
- Make the connection of power (+12V) separate of the sound system. Use one fuse of 1A away 30 cm
from the battery to protection.
- Make a good grounding of CROSSOVER. Remove the paint from the chassis of the vehicle at the
desired point. Screw the wire using a ground terminal. To protect from oxidation, insulate with paint.
- Let`s CROSSOVER grounding point as close as possible to other audio equipment used together.
- Do not loop with the ground wire. Avoid using several ground wires. Prefer the star connection, with all
wires from a single point.
