This parameter determines
the
type of
Tone
delay.
This
applies a
delay
to
the
start
of
the
Tone
after a
Note On.
Settings:
NORMAL/HOLD/PLAYMATE
NORMAL
:
Tone
delay
is
effective
even
after
a
note
is
released.
HOLD
:
Tone
delay
is
applied only while the note
is
on. Therefore, the
Tone
will
not
sound
if
the note
is
released before
the
delay
tinne
has
elapsed.
PLAYMATE
:
The
time from
the
first
Note
On
to
the
second
Note
On
becomes
the
delay
time,
if
this
time
is
less
than
two seconds.
Note
off
PLAYMATE
The Tone
does
not
sound
The
delay time
changes depending on
the time difference
between
the
first
note
on
and
the
note
on.

This parameter determines
the
time
that
elapses
from Note
On
until
each
Tone
starts to
sound.
Range:
1
27/KEY-OFF
The
greater the value, the longer the delay
time.
When
set
to
KEY-OFF,
the
sound
starts
the
moment
the
key
is
released (Note
Off),
regardless
of
the
mode
setting.
When
the delay
mode
is
set
to
PLAYMATE,
the time
from
the
first
Note
On
to
the
second
Note
On
becomes
the
delay
time,
if
this
parameter
value
is
set
to
64.
When
set
to
127, the delay
interval
is
approximately
twice
that of setting
64.
You
can
create
an echo
effect
by
setting different
delay times
for
various
Tones
with
the
same
sound.
You
can
also
use
this
function
to
produce arpeggios
(at
the touch
of
a
single key),
by changing
the
delay time
for
each
Tone
(e.g.,
Patch
164
REVERSE
MAD)
,or
by changing
the
pitch for
each
Tone
with the
same
sound.
