12. Remove spring clip from left side of pinion shaft.
See Figure 58.
NOTICE: Sleeve bushing will fall from pinion shaft in
following step.
13. Move pinion shaft left until removed from pinion
sprocket.
14. Remove pinion sprocket from chain.
IMPORTANT: Make sure flange bushings remain seated in
pinion sprocket.

15. Remove hardware securing bearing flange to frame
and remove bearing flange.

Install Bearing Flange to Right Side of
Frame
1.
Install bearing flange to frame exterior and secure with
three hex bolts and three center locking flange nuts.
Tighten hardware.
See Figure 60.
2.
Reinstall pinion sprocket into chain. Make sure teeth in
small sprocket and pinion sprocket are correctly
seated in chain.
3.
Position pinion sprocket so it aligns with hole in frame
and so chain is taut.
4.
Position sleeve bushing between pinion sprocket and
frame.
5.
Slowly insert pinion shaft through pinion sprocket,
sleeve bushing and frame until it stops.
IMPORTANT: Make sure roll pin in opposite end of pinion
shaft is tight against frame exterior.
