f Enter your own IP address and the subnet mask. f
f Activate the gateway and enter the DNS server for the name f
resolution.
f Disconnect the crossover cable from the computer and recon- f
nect the appliance to your router.
f Enter "servicewelt" in the address bar. Press the return key. f
The Servicewelt user interface or the selected IP address will open.
Your data will be loaded.
Note
Consult an IT specialist if, after manual registration and
restart, the Servicewelt user interface still does not open.
Note
To reset the manual configuration of the appliance to
factory settings, press and hold the RESET button for
10 seconds.
If the access lock has been activated, the login screen will be
displayed first.
f Enter the login details. f
Default username: user
Default password: pass
Commissioning is now complete.

If data is to be transmitted to the STIEBEL ELTRON server, the
connection has to be enabled.
f Click on "Establish connection". f
Note
If there is no connection to the internet, a fault message
is displayed.
An information window is displayed.
f Read the text in the information window. f
f Click on "Next". f
