4. CONNECT THE REMOTE RADAR DETECTOR'S JACK CABLE INTO
THE GPS DETECTOR'S "OPT" PORT
After the Remote Radar Detector is connected and the radar bands are
switched on in the GPS Detector, the device is working. If the Remote Radar
Detector detects radar signals, the GPS Detector gives audio and text alarm.
There are 7 radar signal levels. A beep sound indicates the strength of the
signal. It goes faster according the strength of the radar signal.
If the Anti Zone function of the device is switched on, and the radar signals
come from that place where there is an Anti Zone location, the GPS Detector
does not give any alarm.
When the Remote Radar Detector receives radar signals and approaches a
stored GPS point, only the GPS warning appears because it has a higher
priority.
The (water proof) Remote Radar Detector is
designed to be mounted at the front of your car and
the best mounting position is directly below or
behind the plastic bumper (metal bumpers can
obstruct radar signals). Radar signal receiving
angle is 180° .
