Power disconnection. Unit with or without ON-OFF

Preface
The WV-CF334 is surveillance color CCTV camera equipped with a 1/3 inch CCD solid-state image
sensor with 752 horizontal pixels.
This camera can be mounted on a ceiling or a wall without any difficulty.
Features
WV-CF334 is provided with the adaptive black stretch function, high resolution of 540 TV lines (hori-
zontal), and minimum illuminance of 0.6 lx (C/L), 0.4 lx (B/W), (F1.3(WIDE)) thanks to the adoption of
the newly developed digital signal processor.

Important Safety Instructions

7) Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has
two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold
with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combina-
tion to avoid injury from tip-over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
Precautions
This apparatus has no power switch.
Power is supplied from an external 12 V DC
or 24 V AC power-supply device. Refer to ser-
vice personnel for how to turn on/off the power.
To keep on using with stable performance
• Parts of this product may deteriorate and it
may shorten lifetime of this product when
using in locations subject to high tempera-
tures and high humidity. Do not expose the
product to direct heat such as from a
heater.
• Use the appliance at temperature within
–10 °C - +50 °C and humidity below 90 %.
(When using the appliance without turning
the power off)
Do not drop metallic parts through holes.
This could permanently damage the apparatus.
Turn the power off immediately and contact
qualified service personnel for service.
Do not rub your hands along the metallic
edges.
This could cause injury.
Do not attempt to disassemble the camera.
To prevent electric shock, do not remove
screws or covers.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Ask
qualified service personnel for servicing.
Handle the camera with care.

Do not abuse the camera. Avoid striking, shak-
ing, etc. The camera could be damaged by
improper handing or storage.
Do not touch the dome cover with your bare
hands.
A dirty dome cover causes deterioration in pic-
ture quality.
Cleaning the camera body
Turn the power off when cleaning the product.

Use a dry cloth to clean the product.
Do not use strong abrasive detergent when
cleaning the product body. When the dirt is
hard to remove, use a mild detergent and wipe
gently. Then, wipe off the remaining detergent
with a dry cloth.
Otherwise it may cause discolouration. When
using a chemical cloth for cleaning, read the
caution provided with the chemical cloth prod-
uct.
Discolouration on the CCD color filter
When continuously shooting a bright light
source such as a spotlight, the color filter of the
CCD may have deteriorated and it may cause
discolouration. Even when changing the fixed
shooting direction after continuously shooting a
spotlight for a certain period, the discolouration
may remain.
Do not aim the camera at strong light
sources.
A light source such as a spot light causes a
blooming (light bleeding) or a smear (vertical
lines).
