Fuse replacement

Always the safety instructions should be observed
without fail when replacing fuses.
Make sure that only fuses of the type stated and for the
specified rated current are used as a replacement. Do
not use incorrect or repaired fuses and do not bypass
the fuse holder - this could lead to a fire.
The measuring input „+" (6) is protected against overload. If you can no
longer carry out measurements, you have to exchange the fuse.
Proceed as follows to change the fuse:
- Remove all the measuring leads and turn the
multimeter off.
- Loosen the screw on the rear of the battery
compartment and carefully remove the cover (7)
of the battery compartment by pulling it back-
wards. Note! It is not a sliding lid.
- Replace the microfuse in the left-hand fuse
holder with a new one of the same type and rat-
ing.
F500mA H 250V Flink 5 x 20 mm, circuit-break-
ing capacity 1.5 kA. A spare fuse is availabe in
the right-hand fuse holder.
- Close the cover carefully again.
