than signal of HSUPA/UMTS network signal strength, then gateway will register
with the EDGE/GPRS network. In the location where HSUPA/UMTS and EDGE/
GPRS network signal strength are similar the gateway might frequently switch
between these two networks thus the internet connection discontinuation may
occur.
EDGE/GPRS only
The gateway will register only with the EDGE/GPRS network. The gateway will
not register with the HSDPA/UMTS network. Use this option if you do not want to
allow the gateway to switch between the networks. But if in your location EDGE/
GPRS network is not available then the gateway will not be able to register with
the network at all.
HSUPA/UMTS only
The gateway will register only with the HSUPA/UMTS network. The gateway will
not register with the EDGE/GPRS network. Use this option if you do not want
to allow the gateway to switch between the networks. But if in your location
HSUPA/UMTS network is not available then the gateway will not be able to reg-
ister with the network at all.
Choose that option that is the best in your location and meets your expectations.
Click button Apply to save changes.
