• Please observe maximum storage times and
expiry dates of frozen goods.
• If the refrigerator is disconnected from the
power supply, you should wait for at least fi ve
minutes before plugging it back in.
• If you will be away for more than three weeks
or the refrigerator will not be used for a long
period of time, you must empty and clean the
refrigerator and pull out the power plug. Wipe
excess moisture from the inside and leave the
doors open.
- Otherwise, odor and mold may develop.
- Deterioration in the insulation may cause fi re.
• There is no need to disconnect the refrigerator
from the power supply if you will be away for
less than three weeks. But, Remove all the food
if you are going away for the three weeks or
more. Unplug the refrigerator and clean it, rinse
and dry.
• This refrigerator contains fl uorinated greenhouse
gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol. Foam
blown with fl uorinated greenhouse gases.
• If the appliance is fl ooded, cut the power
immediately and contact your nearest
service center.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Do not directly spray water inside or
outside the refrigerator.
- There is a risk of fi re or electric shock.
• Do not spray infl ammable gas near the
refrigerator.
- There is a risk of explosion or fi re.
• Do not spray cleaning products directly on the
display.
- Printed letters on the display may come off.
• Remove any foreign matter or dust from
the power plug pins. But do not use a wet
or damp cloth when cleaning the plug,
remove any foreign material or dust from
the power plug pins.
- Otherwise there is a risk of fi re or electric shock.

• Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning and
performing maintenance.
Defrosting
- Refrigerator compartment
Defrosting is actuated automatically.
- Freezer compartment
The freezer compartment does not defrost
automatically, otherwise the frozen food would
start thawing. A layer of frost in the freezer
compartment impairs refrigeration of the frozen
food and increases power consumption. Remove
the layer of hoarfrost regularly.
Do not scrape off hoarfrost or ice with
pointed object. You could damage the

refrigerant tubes. Leaking refrigerant
may ignite or cause eye injuries.
1. Pull out mains plug.
2. Place the freezer drawers containing the
food in a cool location.
3. Open condensation outlet.
4. Place the empty container under the open
condensation outlet.
5. When the freezer compartment has defrosted,
pour the water out of the freezer drawer. Wipe
any remaining water off the bottom of the
freezer compartment with a sponge.
6. Close condensation outlet.
7. When defrosting is complete, connect and
switch on the appliance again.
SEVERE WARNING SIGNS
FOR DISPOSAL
WARNING
• Ensure that none of the pipes on the
back of the appliance are damaged prior
to disposal.
• R600a or R134a is used as a refrigerant.
Check the compressor label on the rear of
the appliance or the rating label inside the
refrigerator to see which refrigerant is used for
your refrigerator. When this product contains
fl ammable gas (Refrigerant R600a), contact your
local authority in regard to safe disposal of this
product. Cyclopentane is used as an insulation
blowing gas. The gases in insulation material
require special disposal procedure. Please
contact your local authorities in regard to the
environmentally safe disposal of this product.
Ensure that none of the pipes on the back of the
appliances are damaged prior to disposal. The
pipes shall be broken in the open space.
