2.2 Important considerations

• The CardioDock is only to be used for the specific
purpose described in this instruction manual.
• The system is not intended for commercial use.
• Any misuse will void the warranty.
• On the rare occasion of a fault causing the cuff to
remain fully inflated during measurement, open the
cuff immediately.
• Do not operate the system in the vicinity of strong
transmitters such as microwave and shortwave
appliances. This may impair the correct functioning of
the unit.
• To ensure CardioDock readings are accurate, keep at
a minimum distance of about 30 cm from other
wireless devices.
• If a call or a text message is received during a reading,
the procedure is cancelled. The cuff deflates.
• This module is not designed to be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental abilities, or by persons with insufficient
experience and/or knowledge, unless under observation
by a person responsible for their safety, or unless they
have been instructed in the use of the device.
