Connecting your camcorder to
your computer using the USB
cable – For Windows users
Note
If you connect the USB cable before USB driver
installation is complete, the USB driver will not
be properly registered. Carry out installation
again in accordance with the steps on page 248.
Windows XP Home Edition/Professional users
If you go to "USB CONNECT" in the menu
settings and select "PTP", you can copy
"Memory Stick" images from the camcorder onto
your computer without installing the USB
driver.This is ideal for simply copying images
from a camcorder onto a computer. Refer to page
278 for details.
