ROUBLESHOOTING
(1) Power related:
No Power / Can Not Boot
1. Charge the device or boot the device using AC adapter and check if work.
2. If Charge LED is not ON, fuse might be open, replace one.
3. If device stay in boot loader mode (Four color display), link device with PC and execute RUU.
4. Check battery connector with no damage
5. Check if LCM is connected properly.
6. Replace MB.
Cannot hold charge (low standby/operation)
1.
Check leakage current measured should be within spec.(Refer Chapter Leakage current measurement)
2.
Ensure abnormal current measured is not caused by camera.
3.
Replace MB.
Cannot charge
1.
Attach AC adapter, Charge LED has no indication.
2.
Check battery connector if damage
3.
Ensure charge LED is good (not defective)
4.
MB defective
5.
Device accessory such as AC adapter, battery defective.
Cannot switch off the phone
1.
Press power button for 3 seconds.
2.
Reset phone (Remove and re-attach the battery)
3.
Perform clear storage (all user data will be lost) by following either process 1 or process 2:
Process 1
>Power off device
>Hold APP1 (Start key) + APP2 (Contacts key) + Power button simultaneously around 3 seconds, and
release power button first.
Process 2
In Windows mode go to Setting>Accessory>Clear storage
Device will back to factory default and rebuild its configuration.
