Attach the DB-9 Power Cable.
The DB-9 cable connects the receiver
to the Navman Wireless assembly.
Attach the DB-9 connector to the
receiver cradle and RJ45 to the
Navman Wireless Power/Serial
Module.
The additional connector is used
to connect to an external antenna
(not included) to receive traffic information.

Power On
Press and hold the power button 2 - 3 seconds to turn the receiver on or
off. Press and hold the power button for more then 5 seconds to reset
the receiver should you have a problem with the receiver and are
instructed to reset the receiver.
The first time you use the Magellan RoadMate it may take up to 4
minutes to compute your location under normal conditions. With
adverse conditions (not having a clear view of the sky) the time to
compute your location the first time can greatly increase.
