Battery
・Always power off before removing Battery.
Do not remove Battery while saving data, sending mail, etc.
May result in loss, alteration, or corruption of data.
・To reduce battery consumption:

・To help maintain performance and life of Internal Battery,
do not store in the following conditions
・Full (immediately after charging is complete)
・Exhausted (too low to power on handset)
・Battery level should be at approximately 40% for optimal
storage.
・Depending on usage, bulges may appear near end of battery
life; this does not affect safety.
・Battery is a consumable item; will need to be replaced if
operating time shortens noticeably even after charging.
Purchase new Battery.
・If Battery or Charging Terminals become soiled, clean with
a clean, dry cotton swab, etc. If left soiled, poor connection
may prevent charging.
・Battery is not water/dust resistant.
Lithium-Ion Batteries
・Handset uses a lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries
are valuable recyclable resources. Recycling is carried out
where the Mobile Recycle Network mark is displayed.
・If Notification Lamp is blinking, handset is not charged.
Charge with a specified charger. If charging is still not
possible, contact SoftBank Customer Support
Shop.
・SoftBank Corp. cannot be held liable for trouble arising
from charging handset while abroad.
Touch Cruiser EX
Operate with fingers on handset keys (Touch Area) to use as
touchpad.
・Touch Area may not respond to the following operation. May
also cause misoperation.
・With gloves on
・With fingernails
・With object on Touch Area
・With sticker on Touch Area
・With water or condensation on Touch Area
・With wet or sweaty fingers

Earphones-Microphone Port
Stereo Earphones with Mic (SHLDL1) are available for separate
purchase. Use with specified 3.5mm adapter (SHDDU1)
(optional accessory). Other earphones-microphone may not
function properly on handset.
・Do not subject External Device Port to strong impact while
using earphones-microphone; water resistance may be
affected.

If handset is unstable, initiate diagnostic as follows.

Reset All deletes all handset memory files. Back up important
data before performing Reset All.
Deleted content cannot be restored. Reset with caution.
