Figure 1 shows a typical home theater setup, with a center- channel speaker (RVX-42) on top of a TV set, left and right front speakers (either RVX-42 or RVX-54) flanking the screen, another pair of speakers (RSX-4 or RSX-5) to the sides of the lis- tening area for the main surrounds, and a third pair behind for the surround back channel in a 7.1-channel (Dolby Digital EX or DTS-ES) system. -

REFERENCE SERIES BASS MANAGEMENT SETTINGS AND SUBWOOFER ADJUSTMENT Digital surround-sound receivers, amplifiers, and processors use what is known as bass management to ensure that low frequencies in the various channels are sent to speakers that can handle them and away from small speakers that cannot. The Reference Satellites require a subwoofer (or large front left and right speakers) to reproduce low bass. -

REFERENCE SERIES Die einfachste Methode, um einen richtig gepolten Lautsprecheranschluss sicherzustellen, besteht darin, die positiven und negativen Ausgangsterminals an Ihrem Verstärker oder Receiver immer mit den entsprechenden Eingangsterminals an Ihren Lautsprechern zu verbinden. positiv („+“ Farbmarkierung rot) zu positiv, und negativ („-“ Farbmarkierung schwarz) zu negativ.
