Scotch-Brite Surface Preparation Pads are engineered
™
to reduce the need for chemical strippers and labor hours
associated with preparing a floor surface for refinishing.
Scotch-Brite Surface Preparation Pads require only neutral
™
cleaner or water to effectively remove floor finish, preparing
the floor for finish application.
Used in combination with Scotchgard Stone Floor Protector,
™
helps reduce use of traditional floor finishes and harsh
stripping chemicals to reduce operator exposure and
environmental release.
The right abrasive paired with the proper fibers using
proprietary manufacturing techniques yields a pad that
is durable and reusable, helping to postpone end-of-life
disposal to landfills.
Beginning in March 2014, the polyester fiber used to make
a range of floor pads* will contain a minimum of 50% post-
consumer recycled content. The recycled polyester fiber used
is third-party certified for post-consumer recycled content.
This product meets Green Seal Standard GS-37
™
based on effective performance, concentrated volume,
minimized/recycled packaging, and protective limits on:
VOCs and human & environmental toxicity. GreenSeal.org.
Traps and holds 4-6 times more dust, dirt, sand and hair than
traditional mops—it's the more efficient way to dust.
Contains a minimum of 60% recycled content.
Interchangeable bottles fit quickly into a lightweight handle to
reduce waste and help ensure precise dispensing of solutions
to the work site. Helps reduce chemical consumption and
amount of chemical entering waste stream.
Designed to deliver each of the Scotchgard Floor Protectors,
™
the 3M Easy Shine Applicator System is easy to use and
™
reduces amount of floor finish needed and amount entering
the waste stream compared to mop and bucket application.
Helps reduce worker and environmental exposure to
harsh floor stripping chemicals, because stripping is not
recommended for maintenance with this product. Eliminating
stripping operations also helps reduce water use associated
with maintenance, and may help customers meet local
wastewater discharge requirements.
Formulated without fluorochemicals, APEs (alkylphenol
ethoxylates), or NPEs (nonylphenol ethoxylates).
