Getting Started Assembly Preparation of the blower vac prior to use The petrol blower vac requires some assembly prior to use. This includes joining of the vac tubes, joining of the blower tubes, and depending if the tool is to be used for blowing or vac, fitting of the tube assembly to the housing and fitting the collection bag assembly to the housing.
Instructions 6. Screw the tubes together using the screws provided. Check the intake cover. For using the blower vac as a blower, the vac tubes should not be fitted, but the intake cover MUST be closed and secured with the supplied screw. The blower vac is now ready for use as a blower.
Instructions Fitting the collection bag WARNING Never operate the vacuum without collection bag attached. Serious personal injury could be the result if the blower vac is used without the bag fitted. IMPORTANT Before using this appliance, ensure the vacuum bag tube is in position and the zip is done up.
Instructions Mixing the fuel ENGINE FUEL: MIX AT 40:1 40:1 WARNING. When mixing fuel it is recommended to wear eye protection, and to mix fuel in a well ventilated location. IMPORTANT. Use good quality air cooled 2-stroke engine oil. This product is powered by a 2-stroke engine and requires the pre-mixing of fuel with 2-stroke oil.
Instructions Filling the fuel tank WARNING. Always shut off the engine before fuelling. Never add fuel to a machine with a running or hot engine. Move at least 3 m (10 ft) away from the re-fuelling site before starting engine. Do not smoke when re- fuelling or operating the blower.
Instructions • Mix only enough fuel for your immediate needs. If fuel must be stored longer than 30 days, it should first be treated with a stabilizer or similar product. Operation During operation of the blower it is recommended to wear eye protection, a dust mask, and full hearing protection.
Instructions 8. Allow the engine to run for 10 seconds to let it warm up. 9. To increase the engine speed, increase pressure on the throttle trigger. To decrease the engine speed, reduce pressure on the throttle trigger. Release throttle trigger (1) completely to return to idle.
