. Do not use batteries if their body is not covered by the insulating sheet or if the sheet is torn,
as this mav cause fluid leaks, fire, or iniurv. Do not use these batteries even if they were
ourchased in this condition

If NiMH batteries (optional with certain models) are not charged within the specified time,
stop charging them and do not use them.

If a battery leaks, becomes discolored or deformed, or becomes abnormal in any other way
during operation, stop using the camera and consult your dealer or an authorized Olympus
service center. Continued use may result in fire or electric shock.
l
If a battery leaks fluid onto your clothing or skin, remove the clothing and flush the affected
area with clean, running cold water immediately. If the fluid burns your skin, seek medical
attention immediately.
l
Never attempt to modify the battery compartment on the camera, never insert anything (other
than the recommended battery) into the battery compartment.
l
Never subject batteries to strong shocks or continuous vibration
