It is very important that you read and follow the steps detailed in this instruction and radio manual. STEP 5 Use a small amount of thread lock to keep the set screw from backing out during use, then tighten the set screw. STEP 6 Remove the 8 thumb screws that hold the acrylic radio box cover in place.
STEP 7 Turn on the transmitter and then the boat to make sure the rudder servo horn is straight. You can use the steering trim function to help center the servo horn. Use a small amount of thread lock before tightening the set screws to keep it from backing out during use. STEP 8 Attach the clear silicone water-cooling tubes to the water inlet nipple on the top of the rudder.
STEP 9 Make sure the rudder is straight before tightening the set screw on the steering rod. Use a small amount of thread lock to keep the set screw from backing out during use. When the rudder is straight, use a pair of side cutters to remove the excess length from the steering rods. STEP 10 Slide the prop onto the drive shaft making sure to align the notch.
STEP 11 Secure the prop using the 10mm rubber tubing and lock nut. NOTE: Do not over tighten! Be very carefull when handling the propellor on any model boat. Be sure to disconnect the battery first. PRO TIP: Always inspect the edges of the prop for damage. Keep the edges sharp and clean for maximum performance.
PRE-RUN CHECKLIST PRE-RUN CHECKLIST Inspect the propeller for any damage. Be sure the propeller is clean, sharp and balanced. Install the propeller and tighten the nut with care not to over tighten. Inspect all of the running hardware for loose screws and nuts. Make sure they are secured with blue threadlock.
