- Page 2 Thank you for choosing Vello. Congratulations on the purchase of your new Vello Tripod Collar. The Vello Tripod Collar is simple to install, mounting directly to the barrel of the lens. Once mounted, the collar provides improved balance and less stress on the lens mount during tripod use.
