SETUP MENU

First-Time Setup

1. Make sure that the antenna/cable is connected.
Note: If you plug in the unit before you connect the
antenna, Channel Search will not be able to preset
channel into memory. If this occurs, check the
cable/antenna connection and plug in the unit again.
2. Connect the unit' s power plug to an 230-240V/50Hz
electrical outlet.
3. Press STANDBY on the front panel or POWER on the
remote control. If you are setting up this unit for the
first time, please:
Turn on your TV.

A message screen will appear. Please follow the
ò
instructions to do the first-time setup.
About Standby Mode
The system is always in Standby mode when the AC
ò
power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
In Standby mode, the clock is shown on the front panel
ò
display and standby indicator light is illuminated.
In power on mode, the system status is shown on the
ò
front panel display and the standby indicator light is
turned off.
4. The " Set your language" message will automatically
appear on your TV/monitor. Use the up/down arrow
buttons to select your language, then press Enter to
confirm.

5. The " Country Setup" will automatically appear on your
TV/monitor. Use the up/down arrow buttons to select
your country, then press Enter to confirm.

First-Time Setup
After you have pressed the Enter button, the

system will automatically scan and set the tuner
channels. (This may take several minutes.)
Country Setup
If you want to stop scanning channels, please select
ò
Cancel.

6. The "Set the time" message will automatically appear
on your TV/monitor. Use the up/down arrow buttons
to select Automatic or Manual. And then press Enter
to confirm.

If the Auto feature sets the clock incorrectly, you can
set the clock manually.

Note:
If you don' t set the Clock, the VFD always displays
ò
00:00 in Standby mode.
If the power cord is unplugged for over 10 minutes, the
ò
unit will go back to original default setting. Please
reset the Clock setting.
