To connect to the internet with this phone, you can use GPRS/EDGE/3G
networks or Wi-Fi, whichever is most convenient.
6.1

Connecting to the Internet

6.1.1 GPRS/EDGE/3G
The first time you turn on your phone with a SIM card inserted, it will
automatically configure the network service: GPRS, EDGE or 3G. If the
network is not connected, you can touch
To activate/deactivate Data roaming
When roaming, you can decide to connect/disconnect to a data service.
• Touch Settings\Cellular & Data\Data roaming to activate or
deactivate data roaming.
• When Data roaming is deactivated, you can still perform data exchange
with a Wi-Fi connection.
6.1.2 Wi-Fi
Using Wi-Fi, you can connect to the Internet when your phone is within
range of a wireless network. Wi-Fi can be used on your phone even
without a SIM card inserted.
To turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a wireless network
• Drag down the notification panel and touch
• Touch Wi-Fi and the switch
• Turn on Wi-Fi, the detailed information of any detected Wi-Fi networks

Browser

Using the Browser, you can enjoy surfing the Web.
To access this function, touch Browser on the application tab.
On the Browser screen, touch the URL bar at the top, enter the address of
the web page, then touch . You can also select a URL from these three
tabs: Top sites, Bookmark and History.
Touch the star at the bottom of the browser to add a bookmark.
6.2.1 View web pages
When a website has been opened, you can navigate its pages by sliding your
finger on the screen in any direction to locate the information you want to
view. You can pinch the current web page to zoom in/out.
