Operating the caboose's smoke unit
T
urn your caboose's smoke unit on or off using the switch on the bottom of the car. As illus-
trated in Figure 14, the smoke unit will be turned off when the switch is moved towards the
outside of the car.
1. Pull off your caboose's stack.
2. Add three to five drops of smoke fluid to the opening in the roof. The addition of more than
that may flood the smoke unit and the interior of the car.
3. Replace the stack. After the smoke unit heats up and the car begins to move, smoke will
rise from the stack.
