1) Distinction of outdoor units
When the power supply is reset, the outdoors are
distinguished, and control is exchanged according to
the distinguished result.
2) Setting of speed of the indoor fan/setting whether to
adjust air direction or not.
(Only 4-way models)
Based on EEPROM data, speed of the indoor fan or
setting whether to adjust air direction or not is se-
lected.
1) Based on the operation mode selecting command
from the remote controller, the operation mode is
selected.

1) Judge the selection of COOL/HEAT mode as shown
in the figure above.
When 10 minutes passed after thermostat had
been turned off, the heating operation (Thermo
OFF) is exchanged to cooling operation if Tsh
exceeds +1.5 or more.
(COOL OFF) and (COOL ON) in the figure indicate
an example.
When 10 minutes passed after thermostat had
been turned off, the cooling operation (Thermo
OFF) is exchanged to heating operation if Tsc
exceeds –1.5 or less.
2) For the automatic capacity control after judgment of
COOL/HEAT, refer to item 4.
3) For the temperature correction of room temperature
control in automatic heating operation, refer to item 3.
