the i n t e r i o r r e g u l a r l y w i t h a v a c u u m c l e a n e r .
B l o t up any s p i l l e d l i q u i d p r o m p t l y , w i t h c l e a n s i n g t i s s u e or r a g s .
Don't pat the spot; p r e s s the b l o t t i n g m a t e r i a l f i r m l y and h o l d i t f o r s e v -
e r a l seconds.
Continue b l o t t i n g u n t i l no m o r e l i q u i d is taken up.
Scrape
off s t i c k y m a t e r i a l s w i t h a d u l l k n i f e , t h e n s p o t - c l e a n the a r e a .
O i l y spots m a y be cleaned w i t h household spot r e m o v e r s , used s p a r -
i n g l y .
B e f o r e u s i n g any s o l v e n t , r e a d the i n s t r u c t i o n s on the c o n t a i n e r
and test i t on an obscure place on the f a b r i c to be c l e a n e d .
N e v e r s a t u -
r a t e the f a b r i c w i t h a v o l a t i l e s o l v e n t ; i t m a y damage the padding and
backing m a t e r i a l s .
Soiled u p h o l s t e r y and c a r p e t m a y be c l e a n e d w i t h f o a m - t y p e d e t e r g e n t ,
used a c c o r d i n g t o the m a n u f a c t u r e r ' s i n s t r u c t i o n s .
T o m i n i m i z e w e t t i n g
the f a b r i c , keep the f o a m as d r y as p o s s i b l e and r e m o v e i t w i t h a v a c u u m
c l e a n e r .
If yoiu- a i r p l a n e i s equipped w i t h l e a t h e r s e a t i n g , c l e a n i n g of the seats
is a c c o m p l i s h e d u s i n g a soft c l o t h o r sponge dipped i n m i l d soap s u d s .
The soap suds, used s p a r i n g l y , w i l l r e m o v e t r a c e s of d i r t and g r e a s e .
The soap should be r e m o v e d w i t h a c l e a n damp c l o t h .
The p l a s t i c t r i m , h e a d l i n e r , i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l and c o n t r o l knobs need
only be w i p e d off w i t h a damp c l o t h .
O i l and g r e a s e on the c o n t r o l w h e e l
and c o n t r o l knobs can be r e m o v e d w i t h a c l o t h m o i s t e n e d w i t h Stoddard
s o l v e n t .
V o l a t i l e s o l v e n t s , such as m e n t i o n e d i n p a r a g r a p h s on care of
the w i n d s h i e l d , m u s t never be used s i n c e they soften and c r a z e the p l a s t i c .
