Building in the appliance
Anti-tipping mechanism
The anti-tipping mechanism a
supplied is used to secure the
building-in niche b to the wall,
preventing the appliance from tipping
forwards.

Danger of tipping.
The building-in niche must be
securely fixed to the wall behind
using a number of screws to avoid
the appliance tipping when it is
fixed into the niche later.

Use two anti-tipping mechanisms for
each appliance or four for each
side-by-side pair of appliances.
^ Place the anti-tipping mechanisms a
on the left- and right-hand sides of
the building-in niche, leaving <10
mm distance to the side walls.
^ Mark the drilling position onto the
niche back walls and top panel
through the holes in the anti-tipping
mechanisms.
^ Put the anti-tipping mechanisms in a
safe place - they will be required
later.
Fixing screws for different uses and
types of material are supplied in the
accompanying pack.
If these are not suitable for the
anti-tipping mechanism in your
installation, you will need to secure it
by alternative means.
^ Secure the building-in niche to the
wall.
