Listening to a Channel

Pressing lets you hear how loud the radio sounds when someone is not talking to
you. If you need to, you can make the sound louder or quieter. It also lets you hear
if someone is talking on the channel before you talk.

Time-Out Timer

The time-out timer helps make your battery last longer by sounding a warning tone if

is pressed accidentally for too long. After one minute, the radio stops
transmitting.
