I replaced the batteries. I pressed the reset button. Closed the thermostat. It still doesn’t start . What do I do now?

If your Toptech TT-N-721 True Comfort III thermostat does not start after replacing the batteries and pressing the reset button, check the following:

1. Ensure the batteries are fresh AA alkaline and inserted with correct polarity.
2. Confirm the battery contacts are clean and free of corrosion.
3. Wait up to 5 minutes if the system uses a compressor, as the thermostat has a 5-minute delay feature before it turns on.
4. Check for a flashing COOL, HEAT, or FAN icon, which indicates the delay is active.

If the display still does not turn on, the thermostat may be inoperable due to prolonged low battery or another electrical issue.
