Problem condition
Faulty operation of cassette mechanism.
Faulty contact or short-circuit of mechanism mode switch (S95.1 , Sg71).

Recording not possible.
Faulty contact or short-circuit of REC INH switch (5974, 5975).
Playback can not perform.
Faulty contact or short-circuit of HALF switch (Sg52, 3972).
The tape advances slightly and then stops.

Cassette deck will not perform TPS function.

This error occurs when 53 (Traverse up detection) is not ON or OFF
within the specified time.
Tray does not stay open.
This error occurs when 54 (Tray open detection) is not ON or OFF
during OPEN/CLOSE operation within the specified time.

CD does not function.
This error occurs when the POWER is ON for the CD block and an
error is detected after the transmission has stadeo.
Tray number does not detect correcily.
This error occurs when 35 (Tray number detection) can not be
detected normally or when the TRAy No. is uncertain.
CD loading mechanism does not move correctlv.
This error occurs when S1 (stocker position detection) is not ON or
OFF, or 52 (play position detection) is not ON or OFF within the
specified time.
C D d o e s n o t f u n c t i o n .
Check il CDRST is H for SELECTOR at CD. lf it is not H after 1
second, it shall be memorised as an error. (lC7O2)
