Adjusting the steering wheel
position while driving may
cause you to lose control of the
car and be seriously injured in a
crash.
Adjust the steering wheel only
when the car is stopped.
TELESCOPE
ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the steering wheel:
1.
The lever to telescope the steering
wheel is under the steering
column to the left. Push this lever
all the way down.
2.
Move the steering wheel in or out
to the distance you want. Push the
lever up firmly to lock the steering
wheel in that position.
3.
The lever to tilt the steering wheel
is under the steering column in the
Steering Column Controls
TILT
ADJUSTMENT
middle. Pull this lever toward you
and hold it.
4.
Move the steering wheel up or
down to the desired position.
Position the wheel so you can see
the instrument panel gauges and
warning lights. Release the lever.
5.
Make sure you have securely
locked the steering wheel in place
by trying to move it up, down, in,
and out.
