Functional overview
– Modular RAID 5/6 controller with "MegaRAID functionality"
(SAS MegaRAID) for SAS1.0 and SAS2.0
RAID levels 0, 1, 10, 1E, 5, 50, 6 and 60 are supported for internal hard disk
drive configurations. As an option, a battery backup unit (BBU) or a flash
backup unit (FBU) can save the memory content even if the power fails.
Cache memory size of 512 Mbyte or 1 Gbyte is available.

Accessible drives / components
The variant with a maximum of 8x 2.5-inch and 4 x 3.5-inch HDD modules
provide a bay for an optical drive.
The variant with 10x 2.5-inch HDD modules does not provide a bay for an
optical drive.
The optical drive installed here cannot be replaced during operation.
USB connectors
4x 3.5-inch and 8x 2.5-inch: The two USB 3.0 connectors on the front of the
server support activities carried out by the service technician. The maximum
length of the external cable are three meters. At the rear there are 2x USB 3.0
and 1x USB 2.0.
10x 2.5-inch: On the front there is one USB 2.0 connector. At the rear there are
2x USB 3.0 and 1x USB 2.0.
Power supply
In its basic configuration the server uses a hot-plug power supply unit that
adjusts automatically to any mains voltage in the range of 100 - 240 V (PSU
Platinum, 450 W) or 200 - 240 V (PSU Titanium, 800 W).
